full body MRI

A full body MRI provides high resolution images of the entire body including all organs of the skeletal system, the joints, and the vascular system. With our state-of-the-art MRI scanners and individually tailored examination protocols we can significantly reduce the required examination times (30-45 minutes). Due to the absence of radiation exposure, this procedure is ideal for preventative screening, e. g. for cancer or vascular diseases, as well as for progression evaluations of malignant diseases or to exclude metastases of a secured tumor; it is highly accurate in detecting metastases in the organs of the upper abdomen, lymph nodes, and the entire skeletal system. Since this examination does not use ionizing radiation it can safely be used for young patients.

Another application for a full-body MRI is the representation of inflammatory skeletal diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, and a precise capture of their activity. Feel free to contact us for further information on this topic.
