CT angiography

Just as MR angiography, CT angiography is a non-invasive vascular imaging technique. By reconstructing the image data sets, a three-dimensional depiction can be obtained. This method also allows for depicting conditions such as vascular constrictions or vascular dilations (e. g. aneurysm). For this examination which only takes a few seconds, the administration of an iodine-containing contrast medium into a vein in the arm is required.
